COVID-19 Economic RecoveryColumbia
Pacific EDD (Col-Pac) is NW Oregon’s regional economic development hub and
throughout the COVID pandemic has served the role of regional resources
coordinator. NW Oregon has a robust
system of small business development centers in each of our 3 and ½ counties
which has provided direct business counseling and technical assistance during
the pandemic. During this time, Col-Pac
has accessed State and local philanthropic resources, provided fiscal
management of business response programs and loan financing/forbearance to
cash-strapped businesses, and started work on the region’s economic recovery
plan. In July 2020, the US Economic Development Administration provided Col-Pac with the funding resources to assist with the region's economic development recovery over a two-year time-frame. Progress to date:
